Down with the kids

On the weekend we came across some groovy little space-man slippers for Little Bro, by the Australian sleep-wear designer Peter Alexander. There were no little girls slippers that fitted Big Sis, and as she was so patient and understanding about Little Bros’ purchase I promised her that I would take her to KMart and she could choose any pair of slippers she liked!

This was a big mistake - you can refer to the photograph above! I really thought it wouldn’t be until Big Sis was at least 14 that I’d have to worry about her dressing like Pamela Anderson - so its happened 11 years earlier than expected! Although I must say Pammy did go up in my estimation for appearing in the Borat movie.

Big Sis is delighted with them and wears them all the time, except when she goes outside, “I want to look after them properly mummy!” she informed me. They are also at the top of Little Bros list of things to “mess around with” when Big Sis is at Kinder. He knows they are pretty special, but like me, he can’t quite work out why!
